My inspiration:

Author Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn is the professor emeritus at University Massachusetts Medical Center and in 1979 began Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) which provides evidence that points to the benefits of adding something as seemingly simple as Mindfulness.

Benefits they found: freedom from addiction, pain relief, greater cognitive development, expanded awareness, stress relief, increased health and decreased disease, increased healing ability, freedom from anxiety, control of ADHD, increased self care, relief from depression, greater acceptance of self, increased confidence and understanding, increased creativity, and so on.
